Everyone,
I have a new cousin!!!! When I got in the car from school yesterday my mom told me, "Hope in July you are going to see Phillip Asher!" At first I thought he was like a French singer. Oh, did I not tell you? In July I am going to Switzerland to see my aunt, uncle, cousin, and new cousin. My new cousin's due date wasn't for another three weeks. Now back to the story.  So I was confused, then my mom told my that my aunt had the baby today!! I have a new cousin!! Phillip Asher!! I am so excited to meet him in July!! When I get pictures, 3 weeks to a month, I will post them!!

Fall Break

I can not believe that Fall Break is finally here! I need a break from school, I haven't been getting enough sleep. I'm not 100% sure on what I'm doing but, I do know that I am going to be working on my Science Egg-Drop project. I'm really excited because I have a few plans up in my brain. I might also read and bake cupcakes. Oh, and sleep!! So what are you going to do?

Life

Hi everyone. Well I didn't win STUCO President, but I guess it's okay. I am going to run for Homeroom rep. Something really bad has happened, Mr.Squibbles' fur is turning brown. That's REALLY bad because his fur is supposed to be black. My mom made me sign up to be a big buddy at the library for story time. I'm excited because I've wanted to do this for a long time. Yesterday I didn't go to school, and while I was at home I thought a lot. I realized that I really miss homeschool. I like that I'm back at ACS, but I do miss 4 hours of work and all homework in bed.

Student Council President

Hey everyone! Guess what?! I'm running for student council president this week! I am running with my friend Taylor. She will be my V.P. I already put up posters and got my speech approved. So I'm already for tomorrow. Tomorrow is voting day when we will give our speeches and vote. I set high goals for myself and have wanted to be president of my school for about 5-6 years now. So please pray for me, because I really want to win this! I will post on what the results are!

School

Hi! I can't believe that summer's over! Well, not technically because summer doesn't end till September something. School started for me on Tuesday last week. I'm sad, because I'm not homeschooled anymore, but I'm also happy that I'm back at my old school now! It feels really good, because all of my old friends are here. I know I'll miss homeschool and Options, but my sister Emily is still going to Options. Plus I found out that the Options are going to have a Spaghetti Dinner Night. That way I can see all my friends! School is 8 hours and tiring of course, but I am some how getting through it. I miss only 4 hours of school. :( The good thing is, is that all my teachers are really nice and I'm having really fun here! How's your school year going so far?

The Olympics

Let's see, the Opening Ceremony for the Olympics was on Friday. I though that was a really good ceremony! I loved how they made the Olympic Rings. I also liked how the "Queen of England" "jumped" out of the plane! Saturday was the first official day of the games! Misty May-Treanor and Kerri Walsh-Jennings of course won the Beach Volleyball Match! I also saw the bike race with the big crash. That was a pretty bad fall. Today was the first day for the women's gymnastics. The Fab Five's first day! Those girls are amazing! My favorite sports in the Olympics would have to be gymnastics and Field Hockey!
I'm looking forward to the upcoming days of the Olympics!

My Crazy Life

Hey everyone! Sorry I haven't posted anything in forever! I've just been so busy.
       Two or three weeks ago my dad and I went camping at Beaver Creek for two days. We had a blast! On our last day we climbed this giant boulder only with our hands. It was so much fun!

This is about half way up. See, you can't even see the top, the camera couldn't fit it all.

 

While we were camping and for another two weeks we were dog sitting my friend's dog, Leah. I now call her my "Girly Girl". She's so good. When my friend and her family came back from their trip I didn't want to giver her back. Plus my dog Roofus, LOVED her staying with us!

The next week my sister and I helped out at our church for VBS. Or Vacation Bible School. I had a lot of fun! I had an awesome assistant, Elena, and five wonderful, adorable kids. Bekka, Amelia, Callan, Sophia, and Chloe. They were all so cute! And they were all so good!

On the Fourth of July my family and I got back from camping. This time we were camping up at Sylvan Lake. Our family LOVES Sylvan Lake! It's so nice there. We had a lot of fun, we caught fish, went on a three hour hike, kayaked, and hiked some more. It was a lot of fun! This was our second year going and I am looking forward to going again next year!

 

On the way back home we stopped in Breckenridge for their Fourth of July festival. It was pretty cool. They had a mini chalk art festival where you can make a box and draw whatever you wanted. I drew a box and drew a tree for my blog, and Fourth of July!

Also, my dad took me to a Colorado Rockies game. If you know me well enough, you know that I love the Rockies! To me, baseball is just so cool! After the game was over my dad and I went to a nice dipping grill called Vesta. It was really cool. My favorite dip was the Hot Chocolate Dip. It was really good! I had a picture of me at the grill, but it was sideways so you wouldn't really be able to see it. Sorry.

The Cone of Shame

A couple weeks ago my dog Roofus cut open his paw while going to the bathroom. It was a pretty big gash and my parents tried to fix it. They soaked it, put it in a bandage, and made sure that he wouldn't take off the bandage. He's a dog, so of course he took off the bandage ten minutes later. For the past couple of weeks my family and I have bandaged it three times a day, put a bag over it, and tried to make sure that he doesn't lick it. We didn't want to go to the vet for him and the "no licking" and/or "no biting" commands were not working, so my dad had to do what he had to do. My dad took Roofus with him and they went to Petsmart. When they came home Roofus was wearing the Cone of Shame! It was SO funny! I was laughing so hard, I started crying!

The bad thing is, is that the Cone of Shame is to small for him. Today he took off the bag, the bandage, and he started licking on his foot, with the Cone of Shame on! I think we might need to buy a bigger one.

My First Rabbit Show Part II

Hi!!! Today was the big day! The Junior Livestock Show. It was such a long day. I woke up at a quarter till six, then left the house at a quarter till seven, and was at the fairgrounds till like 11:30am. It was so slow in the barn. But it was worth it because I came out of there at 11:30am with a big smile on my face!!! Mr. Squibbles did great!!! He won 1st place for when the judge was checking him!!! And, this is my first year so I'm not all that great at these things, but on the score sheet it said that he got Best of Show and B.O.S.V. I really don't know what that is. Then, he was in the Fur competition. He didn't win anything that time, but it's okay. After that was the big deal competition. SHOWMANSHIP!!! On the score sheet the judge marked that we got a 94/100. Isn't that great?!?! That made us win 2nd place in the Intermediate Division!!! I'm really proud of Mr. Squibbles and happy that we were able to get in some practice for the County Fair!

My First Rabbit Show

Hey everyone it's me! Tomorrow Mr. Squibbles and I will be in our first Rabbit Show!!! Isn't that exciting?!?! Well, I'm really nervous and I haven't even memorized the paragraph on Holland Lops, and I need to know it by 8:30am tomorrow!!! I'm not sure if I'm going to be able to do that. Wish me good luck and tomorrow I will post about what happened and how Mr. Squibbles and I did!!! Talk to you soon!!!

New Blog

          Hey Everyone! I just started this blog, like, tonight!!! I'm new to all of this and not sure if I am doing this right.
